They find the answers, how they averted the Deep Ones' Apocalypse, how they destroyed Cthulhu himself and raised mountain ranges, how they once were together, as they fight robots and monsters and men and their own emerging memories and desires. Sam must fulfill Prophecy and become a Deep God in his own right before they can put things to rest.

Set in (slightly alternate) Season 9 without mention of the MoC, and assuming the Lovecraft episode never existed.

I'm super-excited that thursdaysisters and I got lucky enough to have the wonderfully talented sophiap snag our summary for spn-j2-bigbang. SUPER-EXCITED. She's already read it (and says she loves it! :D) and has already thrown some incredible ideas our way. So not only was the story super-fun to write, all mind-bendy and sexy with magic and UST and violence and Lovecraft, and thursdaysisters' spot-on, appropriately angsty and hilarious Dean voice, but I don't know if we could have found an artist better suited to the story ♥ SUPER-EXCITED, I SAY.

I was also excited to see the reveals, and I can't wait to see all the wonderful art and fic that comes from the fest :D wendy is such a gift to fandom for putting this together.

I'm usually onn the art side of these, so it's a new kind of excitement for me, being a writer this year, and a new kind of nervousness, hoping someone will pick our story! I can't wait, ahhhh!

Thirdly, hi, how have you all been? I've not been around much as I was having a really rough time of it for a while, but I've been doing better lately :) Now I'm working on draft revisions and commissions, so I'm keeping busy. Plus I've started to go to Zumba twice a week, and it's fun, even if I can't get through the whole hour yet. I am out of shape, lol.

So I'm off to Zumba right now. If I'm in the mood, there may be a livestream later. o/

SPN_J2_BIGBANG DRAFT IS FINISHED

I'm cowriting with thursdaysisters, and we just put the "The End" on it about fifteen minutes ago. I'm so excited and I feel so successful, because I've never taken on a writing project this big and plotty before and actually gotten to the end of it.

It still needs some serious editing, of course. But right this minute I don't know what to do with myself, and I have lots of feels that I can't identify, lol.

BUT IT'S DONE

Now I'm gonna eat some lunch or take a nap or livestream or watch last night's SPN ep or... idk.

*Signed up for spn_j2_bigbang! I got my first choice with a really great-sounding story, and my author is super nice and friendly! And most of the other ones I was interested in were claimed by super artists, and i'm already looking forward to seeing the end results @_@ (There were SO many excellent-sounding stories; my first narrowed-down list was almost twenty summaries long, and it was all sam/dean. You authors have outdone yourselves!)
