*Signed up for spn_j2_bigbang! I got my first choice with a really great-sounding story, and my author is super nice and friendly! And most of the other ones I was interested in were claimed by super artists, and i'm already looking forward to seeing the end results @_@ (There were SO many excellent-sounding stories; my first narrowed-down list was almost twenty summaries long, and it was all sam/dean. You authors have outdone yourselves!)

I did! soldered it and everything. I lost a few feet of cable, haha--my cat was nomming on it for quite a while before he chewed through. But so far it works again! :D

You have until May 26 to decide on the Wincest BB, so maybe things will have calmed down at work by then and you can decide :) Oooh, reversebang! I may have to do that one, too. Now that I have my tablet back I want to do ALL the bangs!

Haha, you got enabled! I look forward to that one. I hope it goes over well :) I jkust kind of wish artists got six weeks instead of a month to complete their art. I don't know why it's always a month!

My favorite job ever was as a projectionist working at a theater with old, worn out projectors. I had to learn on the fly how to fix a lot of problems with them. I also got to walk around with a toolbelt and a walkie-talkie, wearing work gloves. I felt awesome, lol. Plus, I was the only person in the upstairs of the theater, in the big, dark echoing space that was as big as the whole bottom floor of the movie theater. I also got to stay up until 4 or 5 in the morning, on the clock, watching the movies I'd put together to make sure I didn't make a mistake when I spliced the separate reels together. It was amazing.

LOL Well, I hope my wbb comes out fine because long fics are great but very time consuming and a lot more plot planning than pwps. lol I can do it though, I've done 2 spn_j2_bb's. Now to think up a suitable story... puts on my thinking cap.

I had a friend who was a projectionist before the dawn of digital media. I loved going up with him and watching him work, putting on those giant reels, splicing things, and fixing the machines. Now they just press a button and bam, complete movie with no fuck ups, unless it digitally glitches. I can't tell you how many fwb bjs I gave in that projection room.. Ooops TMI. ;)
