It's so strange to have a relatively clean plate, art-wise. I think I'm gonna livestream tonight (starting pretty late), then draw one last thing I owe somebody, then kind of take a break on the art. If I want to draw something, I will, but if not, I'll go and play a game or read some horror manga or something \o/ I do believe there are some Junji Ito stories on the internet that are new to me, plus I have a few series I was reading. (If anyone shares my love for horror and guro, I would love some links. On tumblr, I watch hellyeahhorrormanga, and I find a lot of things through that blog. But I can't always find where to read them! lol)

Speaking of reading, I am SOOO BEHIND! When the bigbang season happened, I was so busy arting for my own things that I didn't really try to keep up with all the fic coming out. There was SO MUCH. I've got a lot of it bookmarked, and hopefully I can read a big chunk of that. I look forward to it; some of those summaries sounded amazing. lol Great Job, SPN Fandom! So many creative people, it's wonderful.

ALSO, years ago, I tried my hand at doing podfic as part of a self-esteem raising thing? Like, I was (and still kind of am) embarrassed of my voice and the way I speak, and I tried to conquer that by recording a few fics and (eep) sharing them with ~THE WORLD. Okay, so like 50 people total listened to my podfics. It helped though! I'm still a little insecure about it, but podficcing was fun, mistakes and mushmouth and all. I'd like to do it again (but by NO means at the same output level of my art, lol.) SOOOO I think it would be cool if a few people would link me to their own fics, and I could mangle record them :)

*Any rating works for me, but please nothing over 2000 words, and please stick to pairings/characters I already do.

*Give me a link to one or two stories please; I have trouble choosing if someone says "any of my stories would be great." Too much to process! :P

*I'll probably stop at the first five or six or something.

*There's no guarantee it'll get recorded--I've found that there are some writers whose rhythms or dialog just flummox me, and it has nothing to do with how good a fic is. I'm a novice, see, haha.

*Also, if aspects of the story are wildly outside of my interests, I'll... probably just skip it, sorry.

ETA: Thank you all! I think I've got enough experimental subjects, haha. Though if anyone wants to throw a Sam/Castiel fic my way to practice on, I'd be happy to give that one a try, too :)

Children can be so mean. When I watch the History channel, the fucking history channel, these people are learnered and have a phd most of the time in their fields of expertise, they mispronounce words all of the time, even easy words like scythe. Have no fear you are not abnormal and contextual pronunciation would fuck you up, cause most words are not pronounced as they are spelled. Sounding things out, doesn't always work in the land of the American English language. So mumbling was permitted to save your grace but honestly, there was no mumbling that I heard in your POD fic.

You were an introvert and could only come out through reading.. I have a wonderful friend like that, she and I are the best of friends because I accept her for wanting to live in her imagination and yes she can determine the difference between fantasy and reality. I live inside myself most of the time, its the writing thing, my brain is always working on new things.

I find that looking at any list other than your grocery list, kills the mood for productivity. lol Just start at one and work your way down. My next weekend off, AO3 here I come. lol

Yep, spitty, wet, deep throating, bj fic... coming your way.. (no pun intended, but recognized. lol)

Heh. Americans mispronounce lots of things - my hubby downloads podcasts by some American historians and they just can't get names right at all, and this is supposed to be within their specialist subject area! Or maybe that's just an American historian trait....!

honestly you would think that people who are supposed to be experts would at least know how to pronounce names and words within that field, but, NOOOOOOOOOO, all stupid weird phonetic mispronunciations. I give up. Tell your hubby that not all American's are as verbally illiterate as those pod fic historians. lol
