New community for arting!

I've started a new community:

wedraweveryday!

This is a community for those who wish to art every day.

Anyone can join, watch or post.

Despite the name, any kind of art is welcome, be it stained glass, sculpture, papercutting, figurine painting, photography, anything at all!

You don't have to post every day, unless you want to. You don't have to post everything you draw, unless you want to.

You can post anything, from stick figures to the roughest of sketches to doodles to linearts to WIPs to finished works. There's no pressure for anything to be perfect or polished - this is about drawing every day, not being perfect every day :) Though if you want constructive criticism, you're free to post asking for that, too!

I'll try to have a daily post twice weekly wherein people can comment about what they've been working on, or leave links to things they don't want to post as entries. (Should I post daily, or once a week? Twice a week? Feedback on this is appreciated.)

Encouraging comments are encouraged :D

Oh and later if you'd like, you could start a weekly theme or something, or set up entries collecting prompts or ideas for drawing. I think filling another's wish can be a good motivation.

I'm gonna share the hell outta this one, and I am so joining and I may even try and create something each day, cos you're right, just five minutes is worth it to keep the creativity flowing :)

I LOVE THIS! I've been in a 'Write Every Day' comm too, and it's done WONDERS for my output. This will be awesomesauce. I agree with Cho, twice a week should suffice, and it's a good place to start. I also love the idea of doing weekly themes, eventually. I do best when filling other people's prompts, too. It's the commercial artist in me. I don't know what to do unless I'm working under direction! It's a problem.

Yay! I agree with her too - once a day is too much. I'm thinking Mondays and Thursdays for the weekly posts. I like the idea of a prompts post, too. Once we get some more members and get the ball rolling I'll make a post up for it :)
