Birthday thank-yous!

I got so many lovely messages and gifts yesterday! Thanks to everyone who sent me a birthday message, and thanks to milly_gal for the picspam, thanks to amber1960 for the adorable picture, thanks to dont_hate_me01 for the v-gift, and thanks to dolnmoon and memoonster for the gift :D

I'm settling in to my new place still, and it was wonderful to be able to spend my birthday with my family. I slept in, watched a little Walking Dead, had Chinese lunch with my sister, watched my nephews play in the pool (and yelled at them for putting sand in it lol) and then invented the Butt Cannon with them (farts flying in everyone's faces!!!), had burgers for dinner, cuddled extensively with my boyfriend (who's working his first week at his new job, yay!) then had cake while I forced my mom and sister to watch Teen Wolf with me, lol. We're about to get to the Season 2 finale, and they were so eager to find out what the (thing) was and (who) was (what)ing it. It got me all excited too. (I've tried to sell them on Supernatural, but it's 2spooky for my sister.)

I also want to draw your attention to a new comm!

pornapalooza

It's basically a multi-fandom pornfest, with some possible upcoming challenges and things, and I'm hoping it'll give me the impetus I need to pick up my tablet and start drawing again. I sooo miss drawing, but I haven't found my groove again. I'll find it eventually :) Hopefully sooner than later!

Thanks again to everyone, those who made my birthday brighter and those who helped me get here so that I could spend my birthday around people I love :) Funds are currently stretched too thin for me to have gotten any gifts or have a party-party, but we're planning on me having a second birthday the weekend after my bf gets his first paycheck. Two birthdays in a month=major win \o/

Pimped and joined, and about to post some Sterek (just a sketch, though) :D I'm excited for the nest season also! Just gotta get mom & sister caught up on seasono 3 so we can watch the nw episodes together :)

Haha, I know, I think they would have loved it if they could have gotten past the scary parts of it. I don't know if I would have pushed them to watch beyond S5 though - I felt like Swan Song was the perfect place for the story to end, though myself, I keep watching for the Sam & Dean :)

I'm ALMOST at the end of S3 on TWD - trying to get up so I can watch those new episodes with the, when it airs next season, too.

I'm much happier here than I was :) It's been a really good move.

Since Season 4 the only reason I've been watching is Sam and Dean. I kinda stopped really caring about the storylines when the angel and demon wars started... Season 5 was probably not one of my most favorite seasons but I did love Swan Song and the demon blood addiction that Sam went through. Oh and Chuck, we need more chuck. lol

I find a large amount of stuff to love every season but usually the storyline continuity for the entire show and for each individual season goes askew a lot of times.. this is why I just focus on each episode as if it were a stand alone unless it has great potential and does carry through the season's epic plot line. I find I get far more enjoyment out it than if I focused on canon plot line continuity and seasonal storylines to be carried through because to be honest since Kripke handed the baby off to the babysitter with season 6, it has not been the epic show it was for five seasons. But I find love and joy in it each season with my sam and dean tunnel vision. I just hope I can keep up that funnel vision in season 10.... eeeeeeeep
