I know, man! I thought fandom would be all over it, with how much some people like h/c. I like body changing too; I watched the first 6 seasons of SPN in one go, and I loved watching him get bigger.
lol, one reason I like Sam's hair so much is because it reminds me of mine a lot, right now.
I'll have to keep an eye on that thread :o And we should totally remedy it; it's just not right that there's not a plethora of hurtshoulder!Sam fic and art to choose from!
