ISO good J2 Non-AU early season RPS

OKAY, so, I'm not really into RPS. I have no objective problem with it, and I applaud all you lovely fans who post it, it's just that it's not something that's floated my boat before.

However, rewatching SPN has kind of made me want to dip my toes into some fic. Like, especially early-season fic, around the times when Jared would try to kiss Jensen on the red carpet (I love that gif to pieces) or when they were living together.

The thing is, I want the really good stuff. I want the classics. Good characterization, good writing, non-AU early-season stuff. Slow-builds/UST/First-times are especially relevant to my interests. Any rating, though I prefer at least a little bit of lovin'.

I'd ask over on spnstoryfinders, but they ask that you don't ask for "the good ones."

I'm alsoooo really interested in Mishalecki, something I hardly ever see a peep of. Is there any of that out there? it seems like it would be fun.

Does my lovely friendslist have any recs for me? <3<3<3 I don't know when I'll find time to read them, but I want to.

My absolute, all-time favorite J2 non-AU fic is Domestic Bliss and Other Oxymorons by yourperiphery. It's set during season 4, and they live together. It's got a positively delicious sexual tension, and it's also pretty hilarious. (No matter how many times I re-read it, I always laugh!) Unfortunately, the author has deleted all her fic from the web, but I have a copy I'd be happy to share with you if you want it! (I may have already shared it before? IDK. I make this offer quite frequently because I adore it so very much. XD )

Things My Mother Taught Me by sevenfists is awesomely hot and fun; it's basically about a truth or dare game that eventually escalates. And, in a dream come true, the amazing heardtheowl podficced it!!!!!! AWESOME COMBO OR AWESOMEST COMBO?????

Home Steady by pocketfullof is a story about them living together and doing house-related things and it's super, super cozy and comforting to me. <333 (I also podficced it!)

And ever-delightful juice817 podficced Man's Best Friend by belyste. I guess technically this combines non-AU and AU because Jensen gets magically turned into a tiny dog and Jared must unknowingly take care of him for a while. It's really sweet and comforting and funny, and of course juice817 delivers every line perfectly.
