Title and cut text misquoted from "Good For Me" by No Thee No Ess, a song which always makes me think of Dean. Maybe it's the opening lines:

I will admit, my ideal ending for the show is Sam and Dean dying together in some sort of last stand, but I do get a bit of the warm and fuzzies when I think of them surviving long enough to grow old together. If they make it past 40, Sam would totally be mother-henning Dean to start taking better care of himself! I think you got that down perfectly here <3

i love your cranky!dean and his gray hairs. i even love that his t-shirt is old and ratty. and sam's serene face cracks me up, because i can just imagine he's about to say "here comes the airplane!" or something similar, as if dean was a fussy baby. hee.

Here comes the airplane! Eat up, Dean, it's yummy. I imagine in their old age, there will be a slight shift in their dynamice, and Sam will take on the older brother role as they age. Dean'll still be his rootin-tootin self, haha, but Sam will be all mellow and responsible, and make sure dean takes his vitamins and eats plenty of vegetables. Ahhhhh, it just makes me happy.
