At least it was good practice. They say you should read a story through once before you record it for real, and I made a lot of mistakes I had to read again and again. So maybe next time I'll nail it. And remember to turn my mic on! Now that I'm over the shock of it, I'm chalking it up to a learning experience.

Yes, practice is good but still... That feeling when your insides just drop after something like this is the worst.
Not long ago I did two hours of photoshop without saving, and the damn thing crashed. I just couldn't quite believe it. But yes, lessons learnt the hard way tend to stick with you, so at least you know it's not gonna happen again : ) xx

I've read that it's best to read it aloud before you record it, so in the end I was doing myself a favor anyway, lol
