Since Season 4 the only reason I've been watching is Sam and Dean. I kinda stopped really caring about the storylines when the angel and demon wars started... Season 5 was probably not one of my most favorite seasons but I did love Swan Song and the demon blood addiction that Sam went through. Oh and Chuck, we need more chuck. lol
I find a large amount of stuff to love every season but usually the storyline continuity for the entire show and for each individual season goes askew a lot of times.. this is why I just focus on each episode as if it were a stand alone unless it has great potential and does carry through the season's epic plot line. I find I get far more enjoyment out it than if I focused on canon plot line continuity and seasonal storylines to be carried through because to be honest since Kripke handed the baby off to the babysitter with season 6, it has not been the epic show it was for five seasons. But I find love and joy in it each season with my sam and dean tunnel vision. I just hope I can keep up that funnel vision in season 10.... eeeeeeeep
