I am always afraid to look at art that isn't happy or sexy schmoop or hot angst because of the pain it can trigger mentally for me, but maybe it was watching it come to life that made a difference.

The care and love between them shines, and it's tender and gentle and very soothing. The innate trust they have in each other, the way Sam just melts into Dean, and Dean's strong and firm caring hold, it's like the hurt just drifts off.
